On most GNU/Linux distributions you can install Xnee via the package manager.
Mac, use MacPorts. Only records X data, not Quartz. So most of the normal Mac apps will not be recordable.
Windows – well, it’s only usable in an X Window System environment so you first have to install cygwin etc. But you cant record the normal windows apps.
